Although he is only 16 years old, Javi is a force to be reckoned with at any level of Non Pro competition. He hails from Miami,Florida. You can find him on his boat, salt water fishing, when he is not on the back of his horses. Rumor has it Javi is also as good at throwing a baseball as he is turning plus one in the arena. Jan is fairly new to reining. In fact, she is new to riding in general. Just over 3 years ago, she had never even ridden a horse!! In that short amount of time she has won numerous buckles and plaques in her quest to compete at the NAAC Rookie Of The Year competition. In 2011, she accomplished that goal. Jan is married and shares this sport with her husband. She is currently paired up with the great mare Wimpys Dun Twistin by Wimpys Little Step. She has 2 grown children and she is currently the co-owner of a local CSA that provides locally grown veggies, fruits and beef from her personal farm.
Kyndall may as well be a veteran in the NRHA showpen even though she is still eligible for the youth class. She has been showing for years and has done it with her trusty sidekick Please Me Whiz. As a team they have been unstoppable. They won the 2010 USEF gold medal in the 13 and under division. In 2010, they also showed their way to 3rd in the world in the Ltd Non Pro. It is a dream team that just became unstoppable in 2011. Kyndall and “Chicken” took their successes to new heights and won the 2011 world championships in 2 divisions. She won the Ltd. Non Pro and Int. Non Pro divisions!! Kyndall is an amazing talent and is looking to continue her winning ways in 2012. While Chicken gets a much deserved break, she and Jazzy Cindy Lou have been very successful. They have many derby championships and racked up over $25,000 together. Kyndall is looking forward to becoming a Georgia Bulldog and riding for the University of Georgia’s equestrian team!!
Suzy D is a multiple world and reserve world champion title holder. In 2005, she was the world champion Ltd. Non Pro and reserve Int. Non Pro champion. Since then, she has been burning up the showpen with her four legged friends! She has derby championships and is a year end title holder in nearly every east coast affiliate!
Suzy has just recently moved to her new farm aptly named Heaven Can Wait. She has a huge family of animals that reside with her. Equine greats like The Whizmaster, Docs Whizin as well as the most recently retired Malt Whizkey and Not Dun Dreamin can be found grazing daily at the farm. They are joined by roughly 14 dogs that Suzy has generously rescued and given a home to.
Suzy is focusing on showing her derby horses as well as building a breeding program around her great stud Malt Whizkey.
Suzy is a wonderful ambassador to our great sport! She is a member of the NRHA Reining Horse Sports Foundation as well as a 100 Grand sponsor.
Colin and his wife Susan are the life of the party at MR Reiners! Both share a great passion for reining and are fun competitors and great cheerleaders! They are local favorites and together with their dog Bubba, never miss a reining!! Colin is working hard on mastering the rookie divisions thia year. He and his good mare KR Tee Party are hittin it hard in 2012. In his “real life”, Colin is a chef for the Mojo’s Grill in Ocala. His spare time is spent giving Shannon a hard time and saying, ” Well someone has to do it!”
Lisa McDonald joined our team in 2013. We couldn’t be happier! Lisa is such a positive person who just truly enjoys what the sport has to offer. She and her horse Boogies Money are working hard to qualify for the NRHA Rookie of the Year competition. She is an incredible photographer and we find ourselves on the receiving end of her talents. She is always snapping pics of us!! Lisa hails from Jupiter, Florida and she is married to her husband Jason. Lisa works as an office manager and vet tech for small animals.
Carmel is an NRHA veteran. She has been showing for years and together with her husband Dave they own NRHA Hall of Fame stallion Cee Blair Sailor. Carmel spends most of her time running Laser Action Plus in Ocala. She enjoys a good round of golf and spends time with her grandchildren. Reining has always been a family affair. She, Dave and their two daughters, Amanda and Erin, have all enjoyed reining success. It looks like it may not end there. Both of Amanda’s kids are very comfortable around the barn!!
Jim owns and operates Windham Builders in Palm Beach, Florida. The time he dedicates to his business leaves little saddle time. Jim takes that all in stride and has seen huge successes with his trusty mount Shootin Taw. Jim and his wife Lee enjoy this sport together. They have a beautiful ranch in Citra Florida that houses their grass fed angus cattle and Berkshire pigs.
Ashlyn Harper is 13 years old but don’t tell her that!! Ashlyn is the little sister to Kyndall Harper. She is quickly coming out of her big sister’s successful shadow to make a name for herself! Ashlyn has been nearly unbeatable since she got her new mount SLJ Ruf Like Juice. Together they have amassed wins in nearly every rookie class and several youth classes since she got him back in late summer 2012. Ashlyn is a fierce volleyball competitor when she is not on horse back. Be sure to catch a glimpse and cheer this young lady on!!
The White Family
While it would be easy to list each of them individually, the White’s compete in reining as a family so they should be introduced the same way. Burl, Nancy, Ginger, Molly and Cain all call MR Reiners home! Each show competitively and each have a desire to win .. even if it means beating each other!!
Ginger showed successfully to the NRHA Rookie of the Year competition twice. She is currently the facility manager at the Clay County fairgrounds where she is overseeing a horse show facility when she isn’t away showing at one!!
Molly is one of the newest family members to enjoy the sport but you would never know it. She is currently riding big sister Ginger’s old mare Juiced Up. Molly has been racking up scores of 72 in the green classes all year! She is setting the green world on fire and is quickly rising through the ranks. Look for her to rock right through to the rookie shortly!!
Nancy and Burl are at the helm of the family! Burls desire to excel in the show pen is infectious. He is a competitor from way back and his ability to see through the frustrations and come out smiling is a lesson we should all take! He has tasted success and vows to make sure he gets there again!! His enthusiasm has spread to his wife Nancy! She can make all of us look like cowgirls that have been drug through the mud when you stand next to her. Her class and elegance sets her apart form the competition. She is just learning how to ride let alone rein. When she goes in the arena not only does she compete well but she will win the best dressed on ANY given day!
Cain Creery is the son of Ginger White. Cain has the biggest stopping horse in the barn… and the hardest to keep clean!! His all white gelding, Hollywood Latte is teaching Cain the ropes. He has already scored a 70.5 on this great horse and we look forward to watching this young man grow. Cain studies hard and made the academic excellence lists at school recently. We hear that if he is half the reiner that he is a football player nobody will stand a chance here shortly!!
